Lissa So is a founding Partner of Marvel Architects. She recently leading the project team to develop St. Ann’s Warehouse Theater in DUMBO which opened this Fall. Her extensive experience also includes St. John’s Bread and Life Social Services in Brooklyn, Westchester Reform Temple, and the Stephen Gaynor School in Manhattan. Lissa works closely with clients to establish primary objectives from which all design proposals are evaluated. Her approach is to explore unexpected design solutions through close collaboration and analysis of the project’s context. Her objective is to build innovative architecture that effortlessly accommodates the user and creates uniquely beautiful spaces. She has a BA in Architecture from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Awards include New York State Award of Merit for The Stephen Gaynor School, and New York State Award of Excellence for St. John’s Bread and Life.
