Marvel Architects is seeking gifted, meticulous designers at all levels of experience, to join our growing Landscape Architecture practice at our San Juan office. As an expanding integrated architecture, landscape architecture and urban design practice, we are excited to be building a team interested in both working across project phases and collaboratively with other in-house disciplines. We anticipate that ideal candidates will be willing to work in all phases of practice: from research and pursuits to design, drafting, and construction administration.
Marvel offers assistance with preparation for LARE, and our Registered Landscape Architects will provide supervision on the path toward licensure. Our designers are asked to join a highly self-motivated and inter-disciplinary environment that provides a diversity of experiences and exposure to an array of projects. Ability to work with the following programs is imperative: AutoCAD, Rhino, VRAY, Adobe CS, and MS Office. We encourage the use of other tools such as Entourage, Grasshopper, and Revit; and of course, hand drafting, sketch renderings, and physical model making.
Qualified candidates should demonstrate with professional work samples the ability to visually express complex ideas and solve problems graphically. Candidates must have excellent communications and writing skills, strong organization and time management habits, and work well independently and collaboratively. An accredited professional degree in landscape architecture is required. Candidates must be bilingual (English/Spanish) and active members of CAAPPR or able to become members.
