As Director at Marvel Architects, Scott is involved in projects from every vantage point: including concept and design, budget and staffing, and client relations. Scott has led the charge of the ever evolving Brooklyn Navy Yard, with projects like New Lab, Building 77, Brooklyn Greenway node landscapes, and the Naval Cemetery Landscape. Current projects include industrial, design, and office complex (adjacent from the Navy Yard), The Hall, as well as the masterplan for Snug Harbor Cultural Center & Botanical Garden on Staten Island. His education, experience and interests range from historic preservation to new construction, urban design, infrastructure and sustainability. By working across such a broad spectrum, he is able to successfully balance diverse needs within a unified building solution. He has a Master of Science in Historic Preservation from the Columbia University Graduate School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation, a Bachelor of Architecture from Texas Tech University, and Graduate Certificate in Real Estate from New York University.
