The East New York Family Academy is a new 88,000 SF public middle and high school designed and built for the New York City School Construction Authority.  The new 5-story school building will house 602 students.

At five stories the vertical block pushes higher than the surrounding residential structures, without overwhelming the scale of the neighborhood.

The public and communal programs are located on the ground floor, and as the users move up the building, individual classroom programs increase.
